I spotted this little guy (girl?) sitting in the sun on a branch of the Box Elder tree. I think this might be the earliest I've seen a Robin, but I can't remember for sure. But, Robins are always a welcome sight!
The new branches on the deciduous trees are greening up, and the tulip and daffodil shoots are taller than I've ever seen them at this time of year.
Though we've hardly had any winter I guess Spring must really be on her way.

Spring is on Her way. i saw two robins "playing" the other day. They couldn't keep thier wings off eachother. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that Spring is better thatn Winter. It was depressing not having much of a Winter.
Love and Blessings, V.
I am so happy when I read your posts. I especially love wild birds. Did you every see "Winged Migration". If not I really do think you would enjoy it. Thank you so much for your wonderful pictures.
ReplyDeleteLove and Light to all.
It certainly sounds like spring has arrived where you live. Lovely shot of the Robin.
ReplyDeleteVivienne, I laughed out loud at "they couldn't keep their wings off each other." Maybe you'll have lots of baby robins this Spring! I hope Spring is better than this sorry excuse for a winter, too.
ReplyDeleteArt Sings, I did see 'Winged Migration,' and I did love it. I'm so glad you like my photos, thank you!
OC, it isn't quite here yet, but it's definitely on its way. I'm happy that you liked the photo, thanks!
