This lovely road doesn't look as though it has much traffic on it, would I be right? It looks like it leads to a deeply wooded place. And I can imagine bears live there.
Sometimes, when I look at your road pictures, I think of a part of the world where wild creatures live in harmony with the fae folk.
Have you seen Mrs. Rose lately? Blow her a kiss from me :)
You are right, Vicki. It leads down into a small canyon where the trees are thick and a creek winds through it. There are bears there and mountain lions and lots of other animals. And, I think the Fae like it there, too. I saw Mrs. Rose last night; next time I see her (probably tonight) I'll deliver your kiss to her!
Laura, I love the promise that corners and bends in roads and paths hold, too. Of course, if you read my reply to Vicki, now you know what's around the bend! Well, actually, around several more bends and a steep path...

"I don't want life to imitate art; I want life to BE art." Carrie Fisher
I live in a little cottage with my furry "children" in a beautiful mountain forest where we enjoy daily visits from the little wild creatures. I love animals (you probably guessed), books, photography, tall trees, clear lakes, rain, snow, tea, the moon, and creating all kinds of art.

<3 I love not knowing what is around the corner!
ReplyDeleteI am sure Vicki is right about the fae! I feel them where I live too!
