"There thee ifh again wif that darn camawa!" I bet that's what this little Chickadee is saying, but she can't speak clearly with a full beak. I'm sure her mother taught her better manners! ;-)
The birds have been feeding heavily even though there isn't a speck of snow on the ground. It's cold, though; our lows have ranged from 7 to 22 degrees Fahrenheit over the past month. I'm going to have to visit the feed store tomorrow to buy more suet cakes, peanuts and black oil sunflower seeds. It's my belief a full tummy makes for a warm little critter!

What a gorgeous header! And a wonderful capture of the chickadee.
ReplyDeleteMt very first chore every morning is to fill the birdfeeders -- there are always a lot of impatient customers waiting.
Trying to convince the snow to go west -- we've had enough for a while.
Thanks, Vicki, glad you like it!
ReplyDeleteFilling the feeders is my first chore of the morning, too. When they're really hungry I have to refill them several times a day.
Oh, how I hope you're successful in your attempts to convince to snow to head west!
interesting.....
