ReplyDeleteAnd rowan is a magickal plant, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteDepends on the culture: Druids thought Rowan, or Mountain Ash, to be helpful in their magical spells, the English thought it protected AGAINST witchcraft, and so on...
ReplyDeleteThis fairy is just beautiful. The Rowan is a magical tree for many reasons. They say, on Beltane, if you gather some fallen Rowan branches, there is a ceremony that can be performed to enable you to look through the circle made and see fairies.
ReplyDeleteOC, I didn't know that about Beltane; I shall have to try it next year!
