Could you please send good thoughts and wishes to Merlin, Malcolm and Gloria? (That's Merlin (grey) and Gloria (black) in the top photo, and Malcolm (grey and white) and Merlin in the bottom photo). All three of my babies have just left with their Dad to go to the vet's to be spayed (Gloria) and neutered (Malcolm and Merlin). Arrrrrgh! I hate this whole process, the being away from them, knowing how frightened they will be, worrying that everything will go all right (being spayed is just like a human woman having a hysterectomy, being neutered is not quite as risky). I know it's necessary, all my other cats are spayed or neutered, but I will be one worried mama until they are all back home with me safe and sound!
(These are previously posted photos, I still don't have my computer back from Dell....sigh).
Victoria, dear, I hope all your babies did okay ~ bless them! Hope you had a lovely Christmas, and wishing you a wonderful 2013! Thank you for all your sweet comments on my blog ~ I appreciate them so!! (They inspire me more than you can imagine!)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Anne (& the Kitties)
oh don't worry...they will be fine
ReplyDeleteThis is good thing to do for our pets
Ours seem to get through it just fine
....hardly skipped a beat...but yes the poor girls...have a day or two more to mend
Waiting for good news on your babies and their visit to the vet/operations...

Thoughts and prayers ascending for you and your precious fur babies.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Always, Queenie
Oh, I so know how you feel ... this is a necessary procedure, but they don't understand that, but maybe they do. I do believe that they will forget as soon as they are back home .... for the most part kitties live in the moment but not as much as dogs do. Kitties are more like humans and really can get their feeling hurt, but they soon forgive us and are back giving us that unconditional love.
ReplyDeleteLove always,
Jan
checking back...how are they doing?
ReplyDeleteAnne, Suz, Queenie and Jan thank you for your good wishes for my precious ones! I called the vet around 11:30 a.m. California time and the doctor said all three came through the surgeries just fine. I called back this afternoon and the doctor said they were alert and doing great, but he wants Gloria to stay one more night and thinks she will do better if Malcolm and Merlin are there with her, so I'll bring all three home tomorrow....yay!! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Karen, thank you, too! (I'm going to disable comment moderation, I keep forgetting to check my e-mail so I can publish replys).
ReplyDeleteI meant 'replies.'
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear they came through well -- always a scary thing.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a glorious New Year!
I'm late again. I'm sure all went well. I know what the worry is when the cats are taken for surgery. If only we could explain it all to them so they understand.
