Wednesday's Winding Road

A winding, very narrow dirt road this time.  It comes to an end shortly around the bend, then it's all forest and all uphill.  There is a little path that winds though it, made by the animals in the forest...and a nature-loving woman sometimes walks there, too.  :)

  1. Ah Victoria - this certainly would be a winding path I would take also. Bet you might even see some wee-folks ahead as well. Have a great day.

  2. Such an enticingly lovely path, Victoria. You are truly fortunate to tread this magical place.
I'd love to walk among such natural beauty... and, it would be lovely to happen upon Mrs. Rose, as she goes about her daily business. I would nod to her and blow a kiss from afar, and she would nod back, acknowledging my presence without fear, and then disappear among the wildflowers.
And, at the end of the road, I would fancy I heard the tinkle of faery laughter deep within the forest, as the sun slowly dipped behind the hill, casting long shadows upon emerald tipped grass.

See, your photos encourage one to stay a while within the frame, and dream :)

  4. Debbie, sometimes I think I do...

Vicki, that's pretty much how Mrs. Rose and I interact when we meet in the woods. I'm glad my photos encourage you to dream!

Laurie, glad you liked the path.

  5. I love roads that wind through the trees. And I love that you can't see where they wind up! Reminds me of Tolkien.
