A Quote for Monday
"My breath would catch at the sight of violets, so common in the woods at home, so surprising in the mountains. The violets' message was 'Keep up your courage, stay true to what you believe in'." Jessica Stern
I love violets! I have some in my tattoo! They always grew wild around where I lived as a kid, even though I am pretty sure they are not native to Australia!
Dear Victoria, There is nothing sweeter, than the scent of a wild violet. I often wonder how something so tiny can hold such a strong and beautiful scent. Wishing you a peaceful week. blessings, Penny
You have such an insightful blog. Thanks for sharing. Reading blogs is my hobby and I randomly found your blog. I enjoyed reading your posts. Interesting! All the best for your future blogging journey.
We are richly blessed with wild violets -- the blue/purple mainly but some white ones, yellow ones, and lavender- brushed white ones as well. I love the quote! And I love your collection of Easter eggs!
To add another magical dimension to your magical realm on your beloved mountain... the scent of wild violets. How truly lovely. Thoughts of your wild mountain home makes me smile.

I live in a little cottage with my furry "children" in a beautiful mountain forest where we enjoy daily visits from the little wild creatures. I love animals (you probably guessed), books, photography, tall trees, clear lakes, rain, snow, tea, the moon, and creating all kinds of art.
