It's snowing here today (yay)! This robin doesn't look too happy, but I'm pretty sure the humans and trees are thrilled. This snow, coming after rain all last night, is very welcome in these parched mountains.
Just a couple of days ago the ornamental cherries were in full bloom...
Some pussy willows were even putting out their tiny, tiny flowers.
But there's no doubt...this robin will be happy once the snow is over!

Dear Victoria - your photography is such a beautiful gift. I am so happy you got rain and then snow. Besides those robins know how to survive in spite of the weather. They often return here before our snows are gone. Take care friend and have a lovely week. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteoh this is exciting, cherry blossoms!
ReplyDeleteRobins here are chirping...can't wait to hear them sing again, especially at dusk
Hi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteThe cherry blossoms have been confused this winter. They've been bloomin' all winter here in the valleys of the southeastern U.S. mountains.
Y'all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Poor tree and robin, but ah, snow!
