Still Captivated

 I was fascinated with this Iris, the only one that I saw that had bifurcated the purple and the white/purple stripes on one petal.  



Ooooh, what a blue!

  2. Me neither! I wish I could find out the names of the Irises they planted...I'll have to go back and read that plaque, perhaps that will give me a clue as who to ask.

  3. My garden is being strange this year. Some things are doing better than ever - things have even appeared that I've haven't seen before in the four years I've lived here. And yet my stand of blue irises have only produced about a quarter of its usual number of flowers. they're very beautiful, though - violet/blue with white spots.
