Sunday Sunlight

I took this photo while on a ramble around the forest recently.  My eye was caught, as it always is, by how the sunlight and shade create a kind of magic and mystery.  It's one of the things I love best about living in a forest.

(The flowers are the blossoms of the Lunaria plant, commonly known as Money Plant).

  1. Very sweet image Victoria.

I love how shafts of sunlight illuminate the dark to reveal such simple beauty.
A gift for those who really "see" :)

This is such a nice plant. I used to also know it as "honesty".
Its flattened translucent seed pods are so lovely, and make very pretty natural arrangements in a simple vase.

  2. I have "woods" on my property and I understand what you're talking about. I love it when the beams of sunlight come down through the tall trees and sheds light on the lovely soft moss. Lunaria is a wonderful plant. I grow them in my garden.
