The violet is the flower for the month of February, although whoever decided that it should be so must have lived in a very temperate climate. I took this in April of 2012.
Violets are one of my favourites! I have three in my tattoo!

Dear Victoria - I agree that violets are definitely a spring flower and not a February one. They are a such a favorite of mine and when they bloom I gather them by the boatloads. Hope you are having a wonderful February. Hugs!
