Little flowers of Fremont's Bush Mallow (Malacothamus fremontii) that I found growing down around Cleghorn Canyon. It's a liminal sort of place, not really a part of the mountains but not really desert. It's so quiet there, especially winter afternoons.

What lovely little flowers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Bush Mallow! Years ago I had planted Mexican Mallow... Big mistake.. Well, it did say invasive.... Should have paid attention.. From one small little plant on the side of my home, turned into a pathway to the back yard, then the front. Took quite a while to correct it.. They were beautiful but would not stay put.. Lesson learned.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week
