"What greater gift than the love of a cat?" Charles Dickens
The photo is of Daisy and her Papa. She adores him and just tolerates me. When he's out of the house, she'll search high and low for him, meowing loudly (she's deaf) and when she can't find him she gives me a look that says, "All right, WHAT did you do with my Papa!?"

ReplyDeleteHave a magical day.
Hi! I popped in here from Vicki Lane's, What a beautiful and fun blog you have! Great stories and Bio! I grew up in Laguna Beach in the 40-50's when it was a fantasy land where I could roam free, run on the beach and grab seaweed to wrap myself in, great memories. Now we are in the beautiful mountains of WNC, and it's fall!
ReplyDeleteI love your pic,s and humor, isn't it a great feeling to finally feel free to accept your beautiful self and special eyes? It's so freeing!
Have a great wonderful day in your magical mountains!
would love to see your work, are you on Etsy?
Its funny how a fur baby will attach itself more to one parent than the other.
ReplyDeleteLovely picture of Daisy and her Papa.
Always,
Queenie
A perfect picture....pure bliss.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Moncha and OC.
ReplyDeleteCJ, one of my sisters lived in Laguna when I was growing up in the 50's and the 60's. It, and the surrounding communities, truly were a fantasy land for kids in those days. I'm not on Etsy, nearly all of my work is by commission. I have a couple of examples of it posted somewhere on here though.
Queenie, I'm glad you liked the picture. It would be interesting to know how and why fur babies choose their favorite human!
Cute! Sookie Horn, our kitten, is an equal opportunity lover.
