The daffodils are pretty much finished blooming now, but the ones I planted where there is a bit more shade than sun are still looking well. Even when they're completely shaded they look like cheerful little spangles of light the sun forgot to take with him as he moved across the sky.
They are so sunny beautiful! And, for end-of-season daffs, they look so incredibly fresh and unblemished. A perfect spot to enjoy them for just that little bit longer.

I think it's because they're in shade most of the time, or it could be that they come up later than the others because the snow stays of the ground longer in this spot. But, it's been very warm today and already they're drooping...
