Sunday Sunlight

Taken on Hwy. 18 while driving back from Running Springs.

It RAINED during the night and most of today. We got one and three-quarters of an inch, according to my rain gauge. Yippee!! First measurable rain in months. It washed all the pine pollen away, cleaned the already clean air and lowered the temperature. It's 62 degrees F right now and the cool air is strongly scented with a wonderful mix of pine, cedar, wet earth and roses. Bliss...

  1. A gorgeous photo! The sweep of the road is so lovely! And how glad I am for your rain -- we're getting a bit dry here -- as well as hothothot!
