Happy May Day!
Despite the horrible winds, some of the lilacs are still hanging on. I think the Faeries may have visited this one...it seems to have a little bit of a lingering glow of Faeries about it. If, while you're dancing under the stars tonight, you should happen to meet some of the Fae offer them refreshments! But, don't take anything they might offer you. Some of them are pretty tricky...

Gorgeous! Happy May!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda, it's nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteHappy May Day to you, Victoria!
ReplyDeleteAnd, also Beltane blessings.
Here, at Samhain, I reflect and honour the Crone.
At this time of the thinnest of veils, I can feel the spirits close by. Watching. More so now.
Thanks Vicki, and Samhain blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteLoved your Lilac. From me in France I would send a 'Brin du Muguet' / Sprig of Lily of the valley for luck. Originally used as a nose gay take a look at one of my early stories about my life in rural France .....

A posy 'du Muguet.'
Barbara, Lily of the Valley was my mother's favorite flower, and I love them, too. It's late here, so I'll be popping over to your blog tomorrow...
