ReplyDeleteVictoria, I just saw a news clip for the Southern California wildfire. Frightening.
The winds are truly a worry.
I imagine you could see much of the smoke from your mountain?
Have the fires lessened by now?
I hope and pray that your mountain is safe in this awfully freakish weather the world is experiencing.

Vicki, it's cloudy here (it's snowing lightly right now) so I don't know if the smoke came this far south or not. Ventura is a couple hundred miles to the north of us. The fire is about 75 percent contained. I feel so fortunate that our mountains didn't experience a similar accident (the Ventura fire was caused by high winds downing a power line) since we just came through several days of terrible winds. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts...we're doing the same for you. ♥
